Erdogan opens 300 factories in Gaziantep

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has spoken  on Saturday at the mass opening ceremony of 300 factories in Gaziantep.

The president Stated “We are officially opening our 300 factories that have been completed and put into service in the organized industrial zones in Gaziantep. I sincerely thank our business people who strive for the development of Gaziantep and bring these facilities to our city. 45 thousand people were employed in these factories.”

Erdoğan said: “As the effects of the pandemic wane and things fall back into place, the Turkish economy will continue to break new records. Turkey will come out stronger from the pandemic in many areas, including not only health tourism but also exports, manufacturing, industry and agriculture.”

Drawing attention to the steps taken to protect Turkish tradesmen against the effects of the pandemic, President Erdoğan stated: “With the Economic Stability Shield package, we have taken under protection our citizens, tradesmen and companies against the effects of the pandemic. At a time when even the developed countries turned in on themselves, we, in solidarity with our tradesmen, worked to open up to new markets and expand our customer spectrum.”

“As we come together with our industrialists and give ear to our manufacturers, we see it clearly that even though the pandemic brings on additional difficulties, it also opens new windows of opportunities for our business community. With their high-quality products, competitive prices, geographical advantages and, for sure, with their credibility, Turkish companies gain increasingly more appreciation.” Erdogan added.

We developed our children’s imaginations. We have another good news. We are establishing a model factory in Gaziantep. I hope we will open this factory like November. Here, theoretical and applied sciences will be given together. In fact, when it comes to Gaziantep, there are many things to tell, from the services of our municipalities to protecting our Syrian brothers.
